The main rails, kingpin section, suspension and under-ride protect are made of steel and the balance of the trailer is all aluminum. That includes the front and rear bolster, knee braces, cross members and outside rails. The PFL model replaces the previous PAC model.
PFE Oilfield Spec Flat Deck Trailer
This flat deck is designed specially to meet the needs of the oilfield, where legal highway weights are maintained but a full 50 ton float is not required to get the job done. The structure of this trailer is beefed up to survive the oilfield environment, yet remains thousands of pounds lighter than a 50 ton oil field float. It is intended to bridge the gap between a highway trailer and a heavy haul float. Key features include a full width pick-up throat, collapsible landing gear and a heavy duty rear bolster prep'd to accept a live roll.
