Outfitting Assistant

Our Outfitting team is responsible for installation of prefabricated parts, air brake/suspension components, plumbing airlines, wiring harnesses/light and wheels/tires.

• Uses hand tools, power tools, equipment to assemble/fabricate parts according to specifications
• Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products

• Must know how to read a tape measure and convert simple measurements
• Experience with hand and air/power tools
• Mechanical assembly and previous manufacturing experience an asset
• Detailed-oriented with a high motivation and initiative
• Dependable with consistent punctuality and a strong attendance record

• Must be able to regularly lift 10-25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Consistently perform repetitive tasks, in a fast paced, physically demanding environment
• Remain on your feet for the entire shift and frequently bend, kneel, stoop, reach, climb, and twist as required
