Machine Operator (Evening Shift)

We are now accepting applications for a Machine Operator on our evening shift.  The machine operator programs and operates an Emmegi machine to produce various parts as required.  Our evening shift is from 3:30pm – 2:00am, Monday – Thursday.

Responsibilities:

• Reviews and follows all work-specific assembly drawings for instructions and part-specific engineering information, set-up information and/or related work instructions
• Ability to prepare and run complex setups and operations
• Evaluates part quality to detect tool or process malfunction or out-of-tolerance conditions
• May perform minor repairs as necessary

Qualifications:

• Mechanical assembly and previous experience in a manufacturing environment an asset
• Ability to work independently
• High attention to detail and self motivation skills
• Safety oriented

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly lift 10-50 pounds
• Regularly possess manual dexterity, ability to bend, kneel, stoop, stand, reach, climb and twist
• Exposed to moving mechanical parts
• Noisy work environment
